Jean Claude Lapalu – Domaine Lapalu 

Jean-Claude Lapalu is renowned for his wines in the Beaujolais region. He began his winery in 1985,  with only a couple of parcels and the size of his winery has grown ever since. Jean Claude has questioned the traditional methods of winemaking in the beginning of his career and has chosen for a vinification process that is simple and natural, using indigenous yeast and low intervention. He has been certified organic for the last 12 years. This decision has enabled the Gamay to express itself beautifully and the entire portfolio of Lapalu has a lot of texture and age worthy wines.
