The familial estate was created in 1940.
Ii is in 1993 that Patrice Magni took over his father and grand-fathers work and started running the winery on his own.
The estate own today 11 ha of vines, with 7 ha in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and 4 ha of Côtes du Rhône on the frontier North of the appellation.
The vineyard has a beautiful complexity of Terroir, part of the vines are on the plateau North of Châteuneuf-du-Pape Le Bousquet and the rest is on the East and South of the appellation close to La Nerthe where we find soils of red and yellow clays with chalk, fine loess and sand.
The vineyards of Côtes du Rhône are situated next to Château de Beaucastel, just after the limit of the appellation Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
The diversity of the varietals is today decisive for the complexity of the wines; it is mostly Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre and Counoise for the reds and Roussane, Clairette and Grenache Blanc for the withes.
Patrice started quickly to work with the minimal use of treatment products and developed constantly the ploughing.
The harvest is manual for the entire vineyard with a strong grape selection in the vines.
The wines from Côtes du Rhône and Châteauneuf-du-Pape are made along the exact same processing.
The estate started its own bottling on the best lots in 1999 for the withes and 2003 for the reds.
